This is the 3rd Protect A Bed protector we've purchased. It is more waterproof than any other we've tried. Our mattress has not gotten wet since we put it on. It gets washed frequently in hot water and dried on low heat with NO problems. We will keep buying this product!

I purchased two of them for my kids beds. I already had one for my own bed. Works great! It is very easy to put on, wash and protects the mattress from dust mites and is waterproof. Great quality!

I purchased both a twin and a full mattress protector pad at a Mattress Firm store at the same time that my husband and I purchased beds and a futon mattress. I was very pleased with them and they seemed to be doing what I bought them for - protecting against soiling from wet beds, spilled liquids, etc. Then I decided that I wanted to purchase more protectors so I went online to see if I could find a better buy. While looking online, I found some consumer reviews. Some were positive and some were negative. I was concerned that maybe the product was not as good as I thought it was so I poured water on each in turn. Both let water droplets through in some areas but not in other areas. One of these protectors had been washed numerous times (when a child wet the bed) and when first washed I had accidentally added 2 or 3 Tbls of bleach to the batch so I figured that was my bad and I had ruined the protector. The other protector had only been washed once according to the directions on the packaging. So, I found my warranty paperwork and contacted the company - Protect-a-bed. They were very professional, non-accusatory, and immediately secured my information and assured me that they would replace the protector that I had called about at no charge to me. I told them of the one I had mindlessly washed once with bleach (that leaked when I put water on it) and that I did not expect it to be warrantied by them. He immediately offered to send a replacement for that mattress protector at no charge to me!
I am so happy and pleased that the Protect-a-bed company stands so firmly behind their product. In the future, I will purchase more protect-a-bed mattress covers for mattresses that we buy new because I like the mattress covers, peace of mind, and I have found that the company stands behind their product.

I use a protector on each of my four children's beds. I love the easy wash should an accident or illness occur. Be careful not to dry it on full heat as this causes bubbling and ruins the protective barrier over time. Save your receipt and you can have it replaced should it become worn out.

We saw a demo when we bought out mattress. It was amazing. It is guaranteed for 10 years and will replace your mattress if ruined. All our beds have them and we have 4 kids. Imagine the accidents we deal with. Well worth the investment.
